Triple Play Mini Album
I am not sure anyone else will ever need this information but just in case I have created a tutorial on how to assemble this darling little book. Why, you may ask? I COULD NOT FIGURE IT OUT BY MYSELF! Maybe I am just not very bright! Thanks for helping me Kathy!!The kit comes with three seperate pieces. There is a cover with two sets of three holes. Then two long strips with one set of three holes. Lay the cover down with the inside facing you. Fold one long strip at the first score line lining up the three holes with one set of the holes in the cover. Thread as directed in instructions. Next, repeat the process with the other strip. Except line it up with the other set of three holes. Refer to the photos in the instructions that come with the kit. I DID NOT USE THE RIBBON THAT CAME IN THE KIT. IT WAS TOO FAT!

Card with a Recipe
I am no cook, just ask my kids! However, I do like to make treats. The challenge this week at H2H was to include a recipe in a creation. I was stumped for a couple of days mostly becasue I don't cook. Then I realized it didn't say a dinner recipe it could be any recipe. I decided to use a Candied Pecans recipe a friend gave me years ago and make a card that held a recipe card. So, here it is. A bag of the pecans and the card with the recipe inside. I hope you like it.
All products used are Close To My Heart

Paper and Washer Necklace
OK, here is my version of the necklace that was a Friday Five winner today at H2H Challenge. It was created by Haley D. Her blog is inkyscraper.blogspot.com. She has made MANY of these little necklaces and they are all darling.
(Those of you who know me from way back will recognize the necklace cards in this photo. In another lifetime when I had two little boys (Late 1980's) and was a stay home Mom. I sold painted wooden necklaces on these cards.) Since I never throw anthing away I was able to pull out these antique cards today and put my cute new necklaces on them. Both Mark and I laughed whenI showed them to him. They are just so old.
SO, what do you think? Will anyone want to wear such a thing? Should they be bigger? Brighter? Or have more bling? Leave a comment!

Sticky Note Notebook
I have wanted a cover for sticky notes for a while. I have found some but they are too stodgy and boring for me. So, I made my own. I also wanted to attach a pen, so I added a loop. I think they turned out really cute and I think everyone I know will have one by Christmas this year. I can't wait for the Idea Book so I can order some new paper and the new embelishments I have read about. What do you think? What paper would you like?

Seize the Daisy
Here is a card I made using a new stamp set I got during Jackpot June! It is called Love in Bloom. I used a layout from WISHES a how-to book from Close To My Heart. The pattern is called City Scape. This is also the pattern for the challenge at Heart 2 Heart for this week. I have really enjoy entering this challenge. I made the top five (Saturday Six) this past week so wish me luck with this entry!
I need to mention that the flower on this card was inspired by a flower made by another crafter, Christine Adams. I have changed mine again and if you would like me to teach you how to make to make one (or a dozen) let me know! Mine is super easy and all you need are six paper circles and one brad.
Cradstock: White Daisy, Amethyst, Sweet Leaf
Paper:Daydream
Ink: Blush, Sweet Leaf, Hydrangea, New England Ivy
Blush Ricrac, brad, White Daisy Embroidery Floss, Blush button

Tri-Fold Card
This is a card I made to go with the note cards for my Sister's birthday. I found a tutorial on how to create this type of card base while surfing craft sites one day last spring. See it at www.craftiblog.wordpress.com It is called Tri-Shutter card sample & tutorial.
I dediced to give it a try for Sis's birthday card this year. I will make this type of card again but, I need to streamline the process because it is very fun to make and to look at. Post a comment if you would like more information about how I made this card.

Emporium Cards and Box
Someone I know will be receiving this gift (by UPS) very soon. If they see this they are just getting a sneak peek at their birthday present. It is a set of note cards, matching envelopes and a decorated box to keep them in. I hope they are liked and used.
I used the Emporium Level 2 Paper packet and My Stickease to create these cards and the box.
Inks: Crystal Blue, Vineyard Berry, Sweet Leaf, and Cocoa
Stamp Set: Paisley Praise.
Stamp Set: Paisley Praise.
Embellishments: Just Blooms Paper Flowers-Spring Blossom, Craft buttons-Winter, Mini-Medley Colonial White, Ribbon Rounds Cocoa Collection.
Here is what the inside of the box looks like.
Patrotic Centerpiece/Treat Holder
Here is my centerpiece/treat holder. I was assigned table decorations for our annual Fourth of July Party. This is what I made. It just so happens that the Heart 2 Heart challenge this week is anything patriotic, so this is also my entry for the challenge (stars or stripes were required). This also meets the criteria for another challenge at Paper Cubed (P3). Paper cubed is all about three dimensional paper items. Check it out at http://www.papercubed.blogspot.com/ there is more to paper than just a card.
Although this centerpeice is very Patriotic it could easily be changed for a birthday or other holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas. I like this project because it really shows that one's card making/scrap booking supplies can be used for more than the intended purpose. It isn't just for card making. What do you think?
Items listed below are from Close To My Heart.
Inks: Tulip, Moonstruck and Indian Corn Blue.
Card stock: White Daisy, Outdoor Denim, and Tulip.
Stamp Sets: Adorable, In The Month Of July, A Twinkle, Calendar, Save The Date, Classmates Alphabet, and It's A Party.
Ribbon: Tulip and Outdoor Denim.
Other items: Bamboo Skewers, white ribbon and eyelets
